Donated vehicles are first evaluated by a local repair garage to determine the repairs the vehicle requires.  Vehicles requiring extensive repairs may be sold and the funds use to purchase parts needed to repair other vehicles.   

New Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and provides donation forms for tax purposes.
